American Street Clothes

“Stop fu**ing around and be a man.” This is printed on the inside of what is called The Genesis Jacket by Society Original Products . This is a brand of Hip Hop Fashion that is tame, but also in your face. I like style that that makes a statement.

Society Original Products has that logo that people can get that deep and meaningful thoughts over. When you look at it you think a revolution is about to start or something around those lines. Looking at the backwards logo of Society just makes you think, “What is this person about?”.  This is what the owner and designer purposely wanted to do. He wanted to make a conversational piece and that is what he had done.

There are two pieces that caught my eye real fast when browsing the clothing line. One was The Overtime New Era Hat. It had a bold printed that stands out saying “Work”. I liked that, cause without putting in work you ain’t gonna get the lifestyle that you want.

The second piece that stood out to me was The New Cool Tee. Printed on the shirt is ” Asian is the New Cool.” Do I believe it? Nah, cause asian has been cool for years. The problem is just like all races you are the hot choice for the moment then it is time to move on. We all are the New Cool it is just that we have to wait for a certain part of the year to be in style again.
